Funeral Services for Welton Eugene Ard, 60, of Nacogdoches will be 2pm Monday July 13, 2009 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with interment to follow at Fred Community Cemetery in Fred. Visitation will begin 5pm Sunday at the funeral home. He was a native of Fred and resident of Nacogdoches. Mr. Ard was A Fork Lift Operator for G&S Lumber Co. Survivors include his wife Ruby (Bass) Ard of Nacogdoches; 5 daughters, Kimberly Scroggins of Ft Polk La; Janie Brown of Kirbyville; Darlene Scroggins of St. Augustine; Shannon Martinez of Lufkin; Misty Adams of Nacogdoches; 6 sons, Roger Ard of Center; Ronnie Ard of Center; Welton E. Ard Jr. of Nacogdoches; Dody Howard of Chireno; Doug Howard of Hemphill; James Howard of Nacogdoches; sister, Fay Reed of Silsbee; along with numerous grandchildren.
