where she lived with her companion, John Scroggins, on Tuesday, May 12,
2009, due to medical complications.
Debbie was born Feb. 17, 1958, in Norwich, and resided in Montville most of
her life.
Debbie was the loving daughter of Albert Johnson and the late Maryann
Johnson. She also leaves a brother, Christopher Johnson of Uncasville. She
was the beloved mother of her children, Heather Kraft in Daytona Beach,
Fla., Tiffany Rodriguez Devine of New London, and Nicholas Devine of
Moosup. Debbie also leaves behind three grandchildren, Xavier Garcia, Mya
Jasmine Rodriguez, and Serena Devine; and many other family members and
friends.
She was predeceased by her brother, Ricky Johnson and her beloved son,
Jason Devine.
The legacy of her love and compassion for friends and family, along with
her passion for crafting, antiquing, and most of all, spending time with
her children and grandchildren, will always be remembered.
Family and friends may visit from 5 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, May 17, at the
Montville Funeral Home of Church and Allen, Route 32, Montville. A funeral
home service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, May 18. Burial will be
private and at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be given to DaVita
Dialysis, 113 Salem Tpk., Norwich CT 06360.
