Mrs. Betty Scroggins Stewart, age 76, a resident of Columbia, passed away Thursday, March 12, at Maury Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services for Mrs. Stewart conducted in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Adair and Rick Points officiating.

Entombment in the Polk Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.

The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Corbett [34665] and Willie Mae Bryant [34666] Scroggins and wife of William "Bill" Stewart.

She worked for Farm Bureau and was an administrative assistant at Rocky Bayou Country Club in Niceville, FL. Mrs. Stewart was a member of the Highland Park Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children: Steven (Katherine) Stewart of Lecanto, FL, Kimberly (Tom) Moe of Eureka, CA and Pamela Massey of Columbia; sisters: Louise Broadway [34734] of Columbia and Shirley Gronewold [34735] of ILL.; grandchildren: Travis Moe, Kristy Moe, Bridger Moe, Jason Stewart, Clayton Stewart, Nathan Folton, Jennifer Folton, Amber Johnson; great grandchildren: Dayton Cates and Kelcy Cates; several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers: Austin Potts, Nathan Folton, Jason Stewart, Clayton Stewart, Dorren Cates and Gary Broadway.

Honorary pallbearers: the Volunteer Sunday School Class of Highland Park Baptist Church, Oncology Dept. and the CCU Dept. at Maury Regional Medical Center, Dr. Daniel Skarzynski, Dr. James and Karen King, and Dr. Russell Berscheid.
