Kevin Wayne Vaughn 1970 - 2009
Kevin Wayne Vaughn, 38, of Jacksonville, died Saturday, Feb. 14, 2009, at Passavant Area Hospital in Jacksonville.
He was born July 16, 1970, in Springfield, the son of LeRoy Eugene and Karen Sue Jurgens Vaughn.
He is survived by his father, LeRoy (special friend, Barbara Louise Scroggins [37341]) Vaughn of Jacksonville; one brother, Robert Eugene Vaughn of Jacksonville; two sisters, Mandy Rice Reiley of Lincoln and Ashley Love Scroggins [42793] of Jacksonville; one nephew, Adynn Anthony Rion Scroggins [add] of Jacksonville; his roommate, John; and all of his Eisenhower Terrace family. He was preceded in death by his mother and his grandparents.
Kevin loved to go to Nichols Park to watch fireworks, watching Scooby Doo and The Lone Ranger and listening to music.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Diamond Grove Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to UNICEF. Williamson Funeral Home in Jacksonville is in charge of arrangements. Condolences may be left online at www.airsman-hires.com.
