THOMAS DAVID A. THOMAS, SR. (Age 89) On Tuesday, February 3, 2009 of Washington, DC. Beloved husband of Mary Frances Thomas. Also left to cherish his memory his children, David Thomas, Jr (M. Lois), Richard A. Thomas ( Lula), Faye Thomas, Maxine Sand, Deborah Simms (James), Janice Davis (Jack), Myra Thomas, Ronald Thomas, Millicent Calhoun (Duane), Jacqueline Harris (Garry), Christian Thomas (Val), Steven Thomas, Sr. (Yolanda) and Trenton Thomas (Towanna); one sister Amy Scroggins; 38 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; two sisters-in-law; one brother-in-law and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 5, from 6 to 8 p.m. at MARSHALLS COLONIAL CHAPEL, 4308 Suitland Rd., Suitland, MD and Friday, February 6 from 10 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. Benedict the Moor Catholic Church, 320 21st St NE, Washington, DC.
