L.C "Sonny" Reagor, 70, of Waxahachie passed Jan.10, 2009. He is preceded in death by parents the Rev. John D. and Sister Alice Reagor. He was a graduate of Turner High School, class of 1957. L.C. served in the U.S. Army and was in the construction industry for more than 30 years. He united with New Mt. Zion Baptist Church at a early age and later united with Samaria Baptist Church where he served as Sunday School Superintendent and also held other positions in the church. He is survived by son, Odis Dale Reagor of Waxahachie; sister, Missionary Johnnie Lee Scroggins of Wichita Falls, Texas; nephews, Pastor E.B. Scroggins Jr. (Shyrl) of Grand Prairie, Texas, the Rev. Luther D. Edwards III (Toni) of Hutchins, Texas; nieces, Tommie Moore of Seattle, Wash., Nylas Saunders of Dallas, and Emma Jean Anderson (Nois) of Wichita Falls; granddaughter, Ashley Jackson; great-grandchildren Jacoryan and Ashton; other nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and the Renfro Healthcare Nursing staff whom he loved dearly. Viewing will be held from 1- 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 13, in the Allene Thomas Retirement Suite I. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 14, at the Community Funeral Home Chapel.
