Deceased Name: PATSY BUSKER
Patsy C. Busker Of Long Neck, DE, formerly of Smyrna, DE, passed away at the home of her son, Glenn L. Busker of Millsboro, Delaware. She was 94. Mrs. Busker was born September 19, 1914 in Bayview, VA, the daughter of the late William W. and Helena Torbert Collins. She worked as a head teller for several years, retiring from Mellon Bank. Mrs. Busker was a member of the Century Club and Asbury United Methodist Church both in Smyrna and attended Long Neck Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Busker was preceded in death her husband, Glenn W. Busker in 1995; 4 sisters, Annie Snow, Nina Collins, Willye Carter and Helen Colberg and a brother, James Robert Collins. In addition to her son, Glenn, she is survived by 2 granddaughters, Deb Scroggin and her husband, Don of Allison, IA and Robyn Bahlmann and her husband, Troy of Charles City, IA; a step granddaughter, Laura Say and her husband Chuck Say Jr. of Willard, MD; a brother, John W. Collins of Hampton, VA; a sister, Virginia Del Maynard of Williamsburg, VA and her great-grandchildren, Brock, Taylor, Britni, Erin, Tyler, Trace, Gavin and Tanner. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Nancy and Sara from VITAS Hospice. Services will be Thursday November 20, at 1 pm, in the Faries Funeral Chapel, 29 South Main Street Smyrna, DE where friends may call one hour prior to the services. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery Smyrna, DE. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to VITAS Healthcare Corp., 100 Commerce Drive, Suite 302, Newark, DE 19713.
