Message: James A. Scroggin SCROGGIN, JAMES A. 70 Gainesville - James A. Scroggin, 70, of Gainesville, passed away November 3, 2008 at Shands at UF. Mr. Scroggin was born in Dunnellon, Fl. and moved to Gainesville 42 years ago from Arcadia. He was an active member of Westside Baptist Church and an avid hunter. Mr. Scroggin is survived by his wife of 45 years, Genola Scroggin, daughters Camala (Jeff) Kuhl, of Bronson, Laura (Roger) Hutto, of Jasper, sister Louise Hightower of Newport, TN, 1 grandson, Luke James Hutto, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. A Memorial Service will be held on November 7, 2008 at 11:00 am at Forest Meadows Funeral Home Chapel, 725 NW 23rd Ave, Gainesville, Fl. with Pastor Rev. Tom Price officiating.
