WINGFIELD Mr. Earnest S. Wingfield, Departed this life October 7, 2000, Mr. Earnest S. Wingfield, of 9122 Sesuit Ln., Mechanicsville. He leaves to cherish his memory two daughters, Evelyn Dingle and Earnestine Wingfield; one son, Darrell Wingfield; his former wife, Ann C. Wingfield; four grandchildren, Darrell Greene, Calvin Trimmer Jr., Cavisha Trimmer and Deonte Wingfield; one brother, Edwin Wingfield; a host of nieces, among them two devoted, Betty Singelton and Evette Boone; a host of nephews, among them one devoted,Clemente Hudson; three sisters-in-law, Juanita Wingfield, Ella Bert Randolph and Adel Scroggins; three brothers-in-law, Earl Trimmer Sr., Stewart Washington Jr. and Clarence Jefferson; other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Walter J. Manning Funeral Home, 700 N. 25th St. Remains will lie in state Thursday, 10 a.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Hanover, where funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Rev. Steven W. Pugh officiating. Burial church cemetery.
