MONTICELLO - Esther Louise Scroggins, age 94, passed away Thursday at her home.
She was born April 1, 1914, in Stuttgart, Ark.
She was the widow of Harold Scroggins Sr., a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church in Monticello. She was the daughter of the late Eugene Colon and Mary Maier Colon.
Survivors include one son, Harold Scroggins Jr. and wife, Nancy, of Monticello; two sisters, Dorothy Tarkington of Little Rock and Lillian Young of Stuttgart; two grandchildren, Casey Tyrone of McGehee and John Scroggins of Sherwood; and three great-grandchildren.
She will be cremated. A private graveside will be held at a later date.
