PRATTVILLE, Ala. - Mrs. Ardeth Pike, 77, of Prattville, formerly of Valley, died Saturday, May 10, 2008 at Resurrection Life Center in Deatsville, Ala.
Funeral services are planned for Thursday, May 15 at 1 p.m. at Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel in Valley. Burial will follow at Shawmut Cemetery.
Mrs. Pike is survived by two daughters, Deborah Sanders Scroggins and Donna Sanders (James) Jones, both of Prattville; four grandchildren, Crystal (Rodney) Price, Mechelle (Kirk) McKinley, Ashley Jones and Joshua Jones; three great-grandchildren, Ariel Scroggins, Tiffany Price and Allen McKinley; two sisters, Hazel (James) Henson of Pine Mountain and Gloria (Michael) Coley of Oklahoma; and several nieces and nephews.
Born Oct. 16, 1930 in Chambers County, Mrs. Pike was the daughter of the late Nannie Lee Underwood White and Joseph White. She was a retired employee of George H. Lanier Memorial Nursing Home. Mrs. Pike had also worked for many years at George H. Lanier Memorial Hospital, Lanett Geriatric Center and the LaFayette Hospital. She was a member of Plant City Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 14 from 7 until 9 p.m. at Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley.
