Notice for Thomas Lynn Bader

Message: Thomas Lynn Bader BADER, Thomas Lynn, 55, of Riverview lost his three-year battle with cancer Monday, March 17, 2008. He was born September 23, 1952, in Louisville, Ky., the son of Louis Bader Jr. and Martha Scroggins. The longtime Tampa area resident is survived by his loving wife, Barbara; daughters, Heather DeBrocke and Stephanie Winn; son, Daniel; brothers, Louis "Butch" Bader III and Timothy Bader; and sister, Alice Marie Maiocchi. Tom' s pride and joy were his five grandsons (Derek, Drew, Thomas, Troy, and Tyler) and the rapid growth of his baseball card collection. He had owned and operated Brandon Sportscards and Collectibles since 1997. He enjoyed sports, movies, golf and any time spent with his family. In lieu of flowers, the Bader family asks that donations be made in Tom' s name to the American Cancer Society or the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer and Research Center, for those who continue to fight renal cell carcinoma. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday, March 24, 2008, at Hillsboro Memorial Fuenral Home in Brandon, (813) 689-8121. Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 25, 2008, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 2913 John Moore Road, Brandon. Interment will follow at Hillsboro Memorial Gardens.
