Message: Dorothy M. Scroggins Dorothy M. Scroggins February 23, 1937- February 29, 2008 SEALE, AL— Dorothy M. Scroggins, 71, of Seale, Alabama died Friday, February 29, 2008 at her home. Graveside funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Monday at Parkhill Cemetery in Columbus with Brother Donald Hall officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7:00 p.m. Sunday at Colonial Funeral Home, 613 14th Street, Phenix City. Born in Columbus, Dorothy was the daughter of the late Clinton Williams and Sarah Calhoun Williams. She lived in Columbus until moving to Seale thirty-five years ago. She was a homemaker and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer D. Scroggins, a brother, James Williams, and a sister, Irene Nickerson. Survivors include four sons, William Scroggins (Lynn) of Ft. Mitchell, AL; Charles Scroggins and Randy Scroggins, both of Columbus, and Alfred Scroggins (Penny) of Seale; a daughter, Penny Floyd (Anthony) of Cusseta, GA; five grandchildren, William Scroggins, Jr., John Scroggins, Sarah Scroggins, Robert Scroggins and Nikki Scroggins; three great grandchildren; and two brothers, Hamp Williams of Columbus and Frank Williams of Covington, GA.
