Ferdinand "Fred" R. Weidenfeld, 77, of Naples, died December 29, 2007. Formerly of Stamford, CT, he had been a Naples resident for the past 18 years. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he was also the founder and owner of F & R Drycleaners in Norwalk, CT for 25 years. Fred was an active member and volunteer of Naples Elk's Lodge No. 2010. Fred will be deeply missed by Ruth, his loving wife of 55 years. He was the beloved father of Christiane Weidenfeld of Naples, Leslie Weidenfeld and Terry Mohr of Ft. Lauderdale, FL. He was also the dear brother of Hannelore Scroggins of Portsmouth, NH. Memorial services will be held Saturday, January 5th, 1:00 p.m., Fuller Funeral Home, 4735 Tamiami Trail East. Family and friends are invited to call one hour before the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his memory to the Naples Elk's Lodge No. 2010 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 300, Memphis, TN 38148.
