Notice for Yves N. Morneau

Message: Yves N. Morneau 1915 - 2007 99414277port.jpg Greenville, NH: Yves N Morneau, 91, died peacefully in his sleep on Monday, December 10, 2007, at his Temple Rd. Home, surrounded by his family. He was born in St. pascal, Quebec, Canada on December 23, 1915. The son of Edmond and Helena (Pelletier) Morneau. As a young child, he moved to Lawrence, MA. He lived there a few years before moving to Greenville where he lived most of his life. He was employed 42 years at Warwick Mill in New Ipswich where he worked as a Technical Supervisor, retiring in 1982. Mr. Morneau was a member of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Greenville, as well as a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus council 8016. Having love of the outdoors, he enjoyed gardening and fishing. He also loved woodworking. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Estelle (Godin) Morneau of Greenville. Three Sons, Lionel Y. Morneau of Milford, Dennis L. Morneau of Candia, and Keith R. Morneau of Greenville. A daughter, Bernadette M Cooke of Keene. Six grandchildren, and Three great grandchildren. A brother, Armand P. Morneau of Greenville, and a sister, Carmen Brown of Mason. Nieces and nephews. He was pre deceased by a great grandson, Tyler N. Scroggins. There are no calling hours. A memorial mass will be celebrated on Thursday, December 13, 2007 at 10:30 AM in the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church at 15 High Street, Greenville. Rev. James Walsh, Pastor, will officiate. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either Home Health Care and Community Services, Community Lane, Peterborough, NH 03458, or to St. Vincent de Paul Society, 15 High Street, Greenville, NH 03048. The Fournier Funeral Home, 12 High Street, Greenville is assisting the family with arrangements.
