Message: [C-15251] Jackie Lynn Kirby Jackie Lynn Kirby, 51 of Athens died Thursday, Nov. 22, 2007 at East Texas Medical Center in Tyler. Services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 26 at Gordon-Foster-Brown chapel. James Starkes will officiate. Burial will be at Willow Springs Cemetery in Athens.Kirby was born Sunday, June 17, 1956 in Athens to Billy Jean Simmons and Willie Mae Scroggins. She enjoyed horse back riding, poetry and writing. Kirby was a member of the Barrel Racing club and also a member of the Southern Baptist Ministries.She is survived by: sons Bobby Lynn Kirby of Seagoville and Robbie King of Malakoff, brothers Billy James Simmons of Athens, David Lee Simmons Athens, Ricky Gene Simmons of Athens, Tony Glen Simmons of Denton, father Billy Jean Simmons, mother Willie Mae Simmons and numerous nieces and nephews.
