Message: Helen Faye Shaver PALESTINE - Services for Helen Faye Shaver, 82, Palestine, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday at Bailey & Foster Funeral Home chapel, Palestine, with Dr. Barry Roberts officiating. Burial will be in Fields Chapel Cemetery. Mrs. Shaver died Nov. 3, 2007, in a Palestine nursing home. She was born July 7, 1925, in Palestine to the late Robert and Josie Kite Odom. She was a homemaker and member of Calvary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her son, Terry Jack Shaver; granddaughter, April Shaver; and sister, Grace Dressell. Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Jack Shaver, Palestine; sons, Donald Shaver and Randy Shaver, both of Palestine; daughters, Glenda Scroggins and Sherry Shaver, both of Palestine; sister, Doris Wynne, Elkhart; 11 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Pallbearers are Stewart Shaver, Scott Shaver, Jeremy Jett, Phillip Castillo, Shon Callahan, David Warren and Michael Pace. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
