John Everett Scroggins, age 60, of Mayflower passed away Wednesday,
September 7, 2005 at the Conway Regional Hospital. He was born September 8,
1944 in Jerusalem, Arkansas a son of the late George Monroe Scroggins & the
late Annie Huffman Scroggins. He was a Cable Splices for the Scroggins
Sling Co. a member of the National Riffle Association and the Pine Village
Hunting Club. John was preceded in death by Two Sisters: Marie Byers and
Linda Jones and Three Brothers: Junior Scroggins, James Scroggins and
Jessie Scroggins Mr. Scroggins is survived by: His Wife: Mary Thorpe
Scroggins of North Little Rock, AR Two Daughters: Jeanette Hampton and
husband Gary of Memphis, TN Annie Stegall and husband Roger of Mayflower,
AR One Son: John E Scroggins Jr and wife Karen of Scotland, AR Five
Sisters: Ruby Norwood and Jean McKenzie both of Morrilton, AR Mary Clowers
of Memphis, TN and Betty Burnett of Plummerville, AR Loretta Ridling and
husband Leroy of Lanty, AR Two Grandchildren: Hunter Stegall and Travis
Hampton And a Host of Family & Friends Funeral Service for John Scroggins
will be 2Pm Saturday September 10, 2005 at the Bob Neal & Sons Chapel;
Visitation will be 6-8PM Friday evening at the funeral home. Interment will
be at the Old Liberty Cemetery in Cleveland.
