She was born in Oswego, KS to Floyd Cavitte and Julia Parks on December 17, 1956. Her parents preceded her in death. She was married to Logan Scroggins on August 15, 1980. He survives. She was a Child Care Worker at the Lakeshore Learning Center for 17 years. She graduated from Topeka High School. She attended college. She was a member of the El Shaddai COGIC. She leaves to cherish her memories: three daughters, Sahirah Scroggins, Serita Swopes (JK) and Satrice Scroggins all of Topeka; four brothers, Floyd Cavitt, Jr. (Carol), Oswego, KS; Lloyd Cavitte, Pittsburg, KS; Chester Cavitte, Omaha, NE and Jerry Cavitte, Sr. (Francine); four sisters, Madeline White (Jimmy), Marcina Cavitte both of Omaha, NE, Laveta Cavitte (Charles), Aurora, CO and Diantha Relford (Teddy), Omaha, NE, mother-in-law, Opal Ransberry, seven grandchildren and other relatives and friends. In-state: Sunday, June 3; 4-8 p.m.; Bowser-Johnson Funeral Chapel, Service: Monday, June 4; 10:00 a.m., El Shaddai COGIC, 920 SE Sherman.
