Message: Donald Lloyd Love LOVE Donald Lloyd Love, age 61, went home to the Lord Friday, May 11, 2007 at the Veterans Administration Medical Center, Dayton, OH. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran, and retired from DFAS in 1999 as a Division Chief. A member of Corinthian Missionary Baptist Church, he served as Chairman of the Deacon Ministry for 12 years until his illness, and was President of the East 5th Avenue Business Association until December 2005; he was also Executive Director of South Community Development Corporation. Donald was a strong, faithful church and community leader, who believed in great faith, character, and integrity, along with leadership by example. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Kimberly A. Love; mother, Henrietta Scroggins; father, Ivalee Love; son, Donald (Nickie) Love, II; daughters, Angela Love, Brandi Hunter; step-daughter, Ashley Harvey; step-son, Christian Williams; grandchildren, Jazmine, Jada, and Janae Love, Canaan Milligan; and sister, Elaine Gaines of Chicago, IL; and many other relatives and friends. Homegoing service 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 16, 2007 at the Corinthian Missionary Baptist Church, 3161 E. 5th Ave., Rev. Michael D. Reeves, officiating. The family will receive friends at the church Wednesday, 10 a.m. until the start of services. Interment in Franklin Hills Memory Gardens, Canal Winchester, OH.
