Florence Dolly Miele Seamstress, 93 Mrs. Florence Dolly Miele, 93, a lifelong resident of Newark, passed away Saturday in the Clara Maass Medical Center, Belleville. The funeral is on Thursday at 9:30 a.m. from the Megaro Memorial Home, 503 Union Ave., Belleville, (megaromemorialhome. com). The Mass is at 10:30 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Church, Belleville. Interment is in Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield. Visitation is on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mrs. Miele worked for many years as a seamstress for various companies in Newark, retiring 50 years ago. She was a devotee to St. Gerard for many years. Mrs. Miele is survived by her son, Dr. Louis Acocella, a deacon at St. Anthony of Padua Church in Belleville and his wife, Sally (nee Battista); her grandchildren, Dr. Michael Acocella, Dr. Anne Scroggins and her husband, Chris, Mary Anne Halbert and her husband, David, and her greatgrandchildren, David Halbert Jr. and Hannah Scroggins.
