Saums, Darlene (Scroggin), 75, homemaker, died Monday, January 2, 2006.
Visitation will be from noon to 8pm Wednesday; memorial service 2pm
Friday all at Smith Mortuary Chapel, Derby; burial will follow
immediately at Wichita Park Cemetery. Darlene was born Feb. 5, 1930 at Prior, Oklahoma the daughter of the late Steven Douglas and Esta Lenora (Sellers) Garner. On April 6, 1947 she married J. B. Scroggin at
Stillwater, Oklahoma. He died in 1987. She then married Harry Saums in 1990 at Wichita. He died in 1996. Darlene was also preceded in death by a brother, Leon Garner and sister, Maxine Garner. Survivors include: son and daughter-in-law, Terry Delia Scroggin, Mulvane; daughters and sons-in-law, Cindra Ronald Malone, Long Beach, CA, Jill Brian Chanes, Beverly Hills, CA; sister and brother-in-law, Bobbie Jack Grable, Wichita; grandchildren, Darla Hedstrom, Ryan
Scroggin, Jason McNeil, Austin Malone, Tiffany McNeil and Jake McNeil;
great grandchildren, Anna, Mark and Megan Hedstrom. A memorial has been
established with the American Cancer Society. Send condolences to
