Van 'Bud' McCray of Aurora Services for Van 'Bud' McCray, 69, formerly of Wheaton, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, at Moss Family Funeral Home, 209 S. Batavia Ave. (Route 31 and Main St.), Batavia. Interment will be in St. Michael's Cemetery, Wheaton. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home. Born March 2, 1936, in Lincoln, Ill., the son of Van and Bertha (nee Vannoy) Scroggin, he passed away Friday, Dec. 23, 2005, at Provena Mercy Center Hospital. Van was employed by Plast-o-film in Wheaton and Clow Corp. of Carol Stream. Van is survived by his mother, Bertha Scroggin of Lincoln, Ill.; brothers, Melvin (Gloria) Scroggin of Carol Stream, Marvin Scroggin of Bremerton, Wash., Richard Crawford of Lincoln, Ill. and David (Dorothy) Crawford of Lincoln, Ill.; sisters, Judy Sutton of Lincoln, Ill. and Lori (Jeff) Green of St. Charles; and his nieces and nephews.
