LAKE CITY — Funeral services for Mrs. Julia Thomas Miller will be held on Saturday at 2:00 PM from Greater St. James AME Church 339 Moore Street, Lake City Rev. Joseph Postell officiating and burial in Beaverdam Cemetery at Scranton directed by Greens Funeral Home.
Mrs. Miller age 77 died on Tuesday. She was born in Berkley County, a daughter of the late Ben and Mary Thomas. A member of Greater St. James AME Church.
Surviving are a sister, Janie (John) Scroggins of Charleston, SC; a brother, Dexter (Annie Bell) Dixon of Roxburg, Mass,; a granddaughter, Charlotte (Jamie) Jones of Lake City, SC; a grand-son, Kevin Morrison of Jackson, La.; 3 great grands; nieces, nephews.
