Services for Russell M. Pande, 87, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, at Leonard Memorial Home Ltd., 565 Duane St., Glen Ellyn. The Rev. John Dumke will officiate.

Born April 4, 1912, in Chicago, he died Monday, Jan. 10, 2000, at home. Interment will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Arlington Heights.

Mr. Pande was a rolling mill operator at Western Electric and was the owner of D & D Hauling Company.

Survivors include his children, Carolyn Ann (Preston) Scroggin of Geneva, Dennis Carl (Mary) Pande of Steward, Ill. and David Russell (Debbie) Pande of West Chicago; grandchildren, Susan (Kevin) Duschean, Wesley (Julie) Scroggin, Russell C. Pande, Heather M. Pande, Danielle (Tracy) Wright, Erin Pande, David S. Pande, Tracy (Scott) Milgrom, Theresa (Michael) Goff and Eileen Schnaitman; great-grandchildren, Tayler Anne Avery, Marisa Avery, Aaron Wright, Katherine Duschean, Jessica Duschean, Brett Scroggin and Samantha Scroggin.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Grace Ellsworth Johnson Pande; daughter, Meredith Joan Schnaitman; brothers, Leonard, Francis, Lawrence, William and Charles Pande; and sisters, Grace Schanmeyer and Lillian Waters.

Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral home.
