CAMPBELL, Steven Steven Douglas Campbell, 57, of North Charleston, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, October 8, 2005. He was born to Arthur Grover Campbell and Wilma Maxine Scroggins Campbell in Salina, KS on Monday, November 17, 1947. Mr. Campbell faithfully and honorably served our country in three tours of duty in Vietnam with the US Army. After his tours with the Army he enlisted into the US Air Force, where he served until 1977. Mr. Campbell became an Electronics Specialist with the Department of Defense, working at SPAWAR until his retirement. He is survived by his loving mother, Wilma S. Campbell of Charleston, two brothers; Phillip A. Campbell, Paul S. Campbell both of Charleston, two nieces and four nephews. Mr. Campbell was predeceased in death by his father, Arthur G. Campbell and a sister, Katherine C. Gilbert. He loved and cared about his family as much as they loved and cared about him. He leaves behind many cherished memories. The relatives and friends of Mr. Steven Douglas Campbell are invited to attend his funeral service at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, October 12, 2005 at the graveside in Carolina Memorial Gardens with Military Honors. The family has asked that memorial contributions be made to the American Red Cross, Carolina Lowcountry Chapter, Katrina Relief, 5290 Rivers Ave. Suite 300, North Charleston, SC 29406.
