The Courier-Journal Obituary Search: "Leo Collins

COLLINS, LEO, 82, of Louisville, passed away, Monday, September 5, 2005, at Parkway Medical Center. He was retired from the old Reynolds Metals Company, which is now Alcoa, where he worked as a machinist for 30 years. He was a Army veteran of World War II. He is survived by his wife, the former Mary Scroggin; a daughter, Kathy Woods; two step-sons, Mike and Gary Summitt, Sr.; a sister, Loretta Swimme; five grandchildren; several nieces and nephews' and a special niece, Mary Ann Rand who was very caring and helpful during his illness. His funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Bosse Funeral Home, Barret and Ellison Avenues, with burial in Evergreen cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. The family wishes to thank all of the staff at Parkway Medical Center for their care and concern for the past 5 a half years.
