John Scroggins
John Everett Scroggins, 60, of Mayflower died Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2005.
He was born Sept. 8, 1944, in Jerusalem, a son of George Monroe and Annie (Huffman) Scroggins. He was a cable splicer for the Scroggins Sling Co., a member of the National Riffle Association and the Pine Village Hunting Club.
Survivors include his wife, Mary (Thorpe) Scroggins of North Little Rock; two daughters, Jeanette Hampton of Memphis, Tenn., and Annie Stegall of Mayflower; one son, John E. Scroggins Jr. of Scotland,; five sisters, Ruby Norwood and Jean McKenzie, both of Morrilton, Mary Clowers and Betty Burnett, both of Plumerville, and Loretta Ridling of Lanty; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services were 2 p.m., Saturday at the Bob Neal and Sons Funeral Home Chapel. Interment was at the Old Liberty Cemetery in Cleveland. Obituary/photo/guest book: www.bobnealandsons.com.
