EAST WINDSOR — Elizabeth M. Hall, 80, of East Windsor died Aug. 12 at Robert Wood Johnson at Hamilton hospital.
Born in Waycross, Ga., Ms. Hall was a resident of New Jersey for many years. She attended public schools in Orange and received her bachelor of arts degree in sociology from Rutgers University.
Ms. Hall was employed at United Community Corp. in Newark. She had been a member of Mount Oliver Baptist Church in Hightstown since 2003. She was a member of the International F. & A. M. Masons, Inc. O.E.S. Lady Electa, Chapter #81 in Newark.
Son of the late Henry and Sadie Scroggins, she is survived by son Mack Hall and his fianc�, Ramona Jackson of Robbinsville; grandson Marcus Heath of Jacksonville, Fla.; sister Marie Morgan and brother-in-law Richard of Scotland Neck, N.C.; nieces Eleanor Davis of Babylon, N.Y., and Rose Marie Galloway of Scotland Neck, N.C.; and a host of relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Mount Olivet Baptist Church, 21 Rev. William L. Powell Drive, Hightstown.
Calling hours will be from 9 to 10 a.m. at the church.
Interment at Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield.
