Jessie 'Tucker' Scroggins

BLYTHEVILLE -- Jessie "Tucker" Scroggins, 69, of Blytheville died Friday, July 29, at Great River Medical Center in Blytheville.

Born at Mountain View, he was a longtime area resident, a farm laborer and of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret Johnson Scroggins [41071:1] of the home; seven sons, Johnny Mack Scroggins Sr.[48735:1], and David Wright, both of Jonesboro, James Wright of Blytheville, Ricky Wright of Section, Ala., Roger Wright of Steele, Mo., Tracy Wright of California, Mo., and the Rev. Chris Wright of Taipei, Taiwan; three daughters, Patsy Williams [52582:1, fb] of Pine Bluff and Melissa Scroggins [41069:1, fb] and Lisa Williams, both of Jonesboro; two brothers, Bill Scroggins [48737:1] of Illinois and Jimmy Dale Scroggins [46530:1] of Gosnell; one sister, Charlene Cleveland [48738:1] of Judsonia; 29 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clete [18830:1] and Willie Kirkland [18832:1] Scroggins; one son; one brother; and three sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday in the Cobb Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Mike Welch officiating. Burial will be in Sandy Ridge Cemetery at Burdette.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
