SHREVEPORT, LA - Funeral services for Gwendolyn M. Scroggins, 52, will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, June 26, 2004 at Trinity Baptist Church. Rev. Morris Austin, pastor will officiate. Interment will follow at Lincoln Memorial Cemetery. Mrs. Scroggins passed away June 19, 2004 at Willis Knighton South. She was born in Shreveport, LA and was a lifelong resident. She was a retired Technician with General Motors. Mrs. Scroggins was preceded in death by her mother, Julia W. Metcalf; daughter, Samantha Scroggins; sister, Arledar Scott and grandfather, Cleveland Metcalf. She is survived by her father, James L. Metcalf; son, John Scroggins, Jr.; daughter, Marie Scroggins; sisters: Patricia Fields, Lois Harris, Ethel Bonner and Delores Brown; grandchildren: Alexandra Webb and Gwendolyn Webb and a host of other family and friends.Heavenly Gates Funeral Home 222-8010
