SCROGGIN ROBERT HENSON Of Hayward, passed away on Saturday, December 29, 2001. He entered into rest peacefully with family and friends at his side. He turned 83 years old December 28th. Bob was a U.S. Coast Guard veteran of World War II. Born and raised in Conway County, Arkansas, Bob had been a resident of the Bay Area since the mid 1940's. He owned and operated a Chevron dealership for over 35 years, in both Oakland and San Leandro. Before health problems, Bob enjoyed family barbecues, deep sea fishing and frequent trips to the Lake Tahoe area. He is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Luellyn Betty Scroggin, daughter Carol Aldine of Hayward, daughter Sharon Cole of Hayward, and Robert Charles Scroggin of San Leandro. He is also survived by six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He had a kind heart and was always willing to lend a helping hand. His family was deeply devoted to him and will miss him tremendously. A private memorial service has been arranged.
