It would be fascinating to find out where the "Berry" originated.My gr. grandfather was John Berry Schoggins.Probably from N.C.His brother B.K. Schoggins lived in Ashland Alabama & is buried there. My dad, Carl E. Schoggins had several cousins in Ashland.His father was William Jefferson Schoggins, b.May 6, 1869
