Louis Scroggins , 63, central Kansas City, died Dec. 31, 1991, at Truman Medical Center. He was born in Fort Smith, Ark., and lived in this area for more than 50 years. Mr. Scroggins worked for the CertainTeed Corp., retiring in 1985.
Survivors include three sons, Vincent A. Scroggins Sr. [38033:&], Kansas City, and David M. Abernathy [tba] and Louis W. Scroggins [52620:&] of Kansas City, Kan.; a daughter, Hazel E. Caldwell [tba], three brothers, Carl Moses, Randolph Moses and Edward Golden, and three sisters, Betty West, Goldie Thompson and Mary Katherine Moses, all of Kansas City; 13 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Thatcher Chapel; burial in Highland Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the chapel.
