Mrs. Mary “Bobbie” R. Scroggins, of Forest Lake Estates entered into rest Saturday, March 12, 2016 at Augusta University Health, Augusta.
Interment will follow at Salem Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Scroggins, daughter of the late Robert and Margaret Gleason Bussey, was a phlebotomist and had worked as a tax preparer at H&R Block in Thomson. She had lived in Lincoln County for the past 45 years, was a member of Faith Community Church, and served on the Patient Advocacy Board at GRU for Family Medicine and Pediatrics.
Her husband, James Scroggins [54539], and sister, Maxine Johnson, preceded her in death.
Survivors are: Daughters: Terrie S. Turner, Lincolnton, Kellie S. Quinn, Evans,
Cynthia Scroggins [54541], Asheville, NC, Lonna Brady, Maryland Brothers: Robert M. Bussey, Jr. , Augusta, Shaw Bussey, Hazzard, Ky., Chris Bussey, The Netherlands, Ray Bussey, N. Augusta, SC, Danny Bussey, Lincolnton, Sisters: Faye Simpson, Appling, Cindy Higgins, Augusta, Donna Bussey, Colorado, and 9 Grandchildren, 1 Grand Dog, 4 Great- grandchildren.
