L. Curley Scroggins , 91, died Dec. 17, 2015, at his home in Amarillo, Texas.
At his request, no service will be held.
Mr. Scroggins was born April 13, 1924, in Parks, AR, to George and Mattie Scroggins .
He
worked 41 years for Phillips 66 as an electrician before retiring to a
life of travel that he loved to document with his video camera to share
his adventures with friends and family. Curley spent more than 70 years
in Texas with Amarillo serving as his base of operations the past 27
years.
He is survived by his 4 children: daughter,
Patricia Greenback; son, George Scroggins ; son, James Scroggins ; and
daughter, Leona Gipson. He leaves a legacy of 7 grandchildren and 8
great grandchildren.
