James Washington Morgan, 78, of Williamstown, died Thursday, Dec. 24, 2015 at his residence.
He was the son of the late Charles Howard and Grace Florence McCain Morgan.
Survivors include his wife, Reva Montana Scroggins of Williamstown; a son, Matthew Morgan of Crittenden; a daughter, Michelle Iseral of Williamstown; a brother, Ray Morgan Williamstown; a sister, Helena Billiter of Columbia, South Carolina and three grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Dec. 30 at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home in Williamstown.
Burial was in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery, North in Williamstown.

James Washington Morgan was born in Richmond, Kentucky on March 18, 1937 and passed away at his home in Williamstown, Kentucky on December 24, 2015 at the age of 78. He was the son of the late, Charles Howard and Grace Florence McCain Morgan.
On April 11, 1964, Jim was united in marriage with Reva Montana Scroggins [41364:D]. In addition to his loving wife, Mr. Morgan is survived by his son: Matthew Morgan and his wife, Shelly of Crittenden and his daughter: Michelle Iseral and her partner, Nicole Dornbusch of Williamstown: his 3 grandchildren; his brother: Ray Morgan and his wife, Alice of Williamstown; his sister: Helena Billiter of Columbia, South Carolina and many other relatives and friends. A brother, Charles Howard Morgan, Jr. preceded Jim in death in 2013.
Mr. Morgan was a longtime maintenance man for the Grant County Board of Education and had been a meat cutter with Bruces's Grocery as well as a former employee at a truck stop in Corinth. He remained a member of the Lystra Church of Christ and was a 1956 graduate of the Grant County High School. He proudly served his country in the United States Army.
Funeral services for Jim will be at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home, 500 N. Main St., Williamstown, KY 41097. Visitation will be 4:00 - 8:00 PM, Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery, North in Williamstown. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
