SCROGGINS, Bernice, 88, of Brooksville, FL passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2015. She was born in in Elba, AL and came to the area 58 years ago. She was a production worker in the poultry industry and Protestant by faith. Predeceased by daughter: June Pease, she is survived by sons: Thomas and Wayne Philyaw, both of Westminster, SC; daughter: Carol Pulice; brothers: John and Jackie Holloway, all of Brooksville, FL; sister: Ann Biggs of Andalusia, AL; 6 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Visitation will be 6-8pm Thursday, July 30, 2015 at the Merritt Funeral Home Brooksville Chapel where funeral services will be conducted at 11:00m, Friday, July 31, 2015 with Pastor Randy Jackson officiating. Interment will follow at Brooksville Cemetery.
