Minne Weeks
(December 31, 1924 - June 4, 2015)

Minnie Weeks age 90 of Laurel Hill passed away June 4, 2015. She was born in Covington County on December 31, 1924 to Charlie Scroggins and Lula Young Scroggins. Minnie enjoyed fishing and doing word search puzzles. Nothing was more important to Minnie as her family. She cherished the times she had with her children and most especially her grandchildren. She relished being their "Granny Weeks". One of her greatest pleasures in life was watching her children and grand and great grandchildren enjoy Sunday dinners she prepared for them. Minnie faith in Jesus Christ sustained her as she bravely fought many health issues. She fought the good fight. She kept the faith. She finished the race. She was preceded in death by husband, Loyce Weeks; father, Charlie Scroggins; mother Lula Young Scroggins; grandson, David Webster; granddaughter, Jaqueline Webster; great grandson, Kelijah Morgan; son-in-law, Jack Webster.

She is survived by son, Lloyd Weeks and wife Janie of the Childrens Home Community, daughter, Joanne Webster of Ft Walton, 8 grandchildren, Mike, Melissa, Paul, Keith, Chris, Merri, Josh and Eric, 20 great grandchildren, 13 great great grandchildren, brother, George Scroggins and wife Eunice of Florala.

Funeral services for Minnie Weeks will be 2PM Sunday June 7, 2015 from Evans Funeral Home with Milner Perry officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour before services. Interment will be in the Paxton Cemetery.
