August 12, 1930 - June 25, 2014
Belva M. (Taylor) Scroggins, passed away 25 June 2014 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. She was a resident at Baptist Health Care Center in Lenoir City, TN since December 2010. Prior to living in the nursing home, she lived in assisted living in Knoxville, TN and Loudon, TN. Born 12 August 1930 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Lum Ernest and Callie Emile (Sisson) Taylor. Bill, her husband of 54 years, passed away 3 December 2002. She is survived by daughters, Sharon Huepplesheuser & husband Dale, Sue White & husband Rightley, Cindy Sadler & husband Mark; son, Robert Scroggins & wife Carol; grandchildren: Rebecca White, Chad Cronic & wife Danielle, Shane Mason, Chris Sadler & wife Jennifer, Justin White & wife Nikki, Natalie Kayne, Andrew Sadler, Amber Hueppelsheuser and Jeffrey Scroggins; great-grandchildren: Liam White, Elyse Cronic, Andrew Kayne, Raina White, Avary Cronic, Grace Sadler, Lynleigh Sadler, Brynn Cronic, and Max Kayne. She is survived by sister, Patricia Bainbridge, Pittsburgh PA and many nieces, nephews. She was preceded in death by parents, three brothers, Charlie M. Taylor, William L. Taylor, Alfred E. Taylor and four sisters, Mildred M. Cook, Maveline L. Sparkman, Phyllis L. Boling and Freddie Jo Burnett. We wish to thank all the caregivers that have assisted in Mom’s care since she moved to Knoxville, TN in August 2005. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Belva’s name to the Alzheimer’s Disease Research or to your favorite charity.
