Daniel Wayne Schultz Sr.
Of Winston, Oregon, passed away on Christmas Eve, December 24, 2013. He was born on August 10, 1948, in Big Fork, Minnesota, to Gustav and Muriel Schultz and was 1 of 6 children. His family moved to Lookingglass, Oregon, in 1950.
Dan married the love of his life, Carol Scroggins [52730, fb] on March 4, 1967. He drove truck for RFP, as did his brothers, for over 30 years. He loved spending time with family and friends, enjoyed hunting, camping, auctions, and garage sales. He never met a stranger.
Dan is survived by his wife, Carol of 46 years; his son, Daniel [52731] (Charlene), their kids: Daniel (Karina), Tyler, Bryanna, and Brycen; his daughter, Shelly [52732] (Dan), their kids: Kyra, (her son, Kahos), Dakota, and Dalton; his daughter, Brenda [52733](Rande), their kids: Dillon and Damon; his son, Curtis [52734] (Nora), their kids: Brayden, Marisa, and Alysa; his son, Chris [52735], his kids: Skylar, Malia and Kambria, and Dan’s dogs: Kirby, Bella, and Abby. Dan is also survived by his brother, Harold (Margie) and his sister, Lori (Vern). He was preceded in death by his parents Gustav and Muriel Schultz; and his brothers, Arnold, Lawrence, and Ralph; as well as his Sadie-dog.
As per Dan’s request, there will be a Celebration of Life Potluck Dinner on Saturday, January 4, 2014 at 1 p.m. at McGovern Elementary School Gym, 600 Elwood, Winston, OR. Chicken will be provided. Please bring a side dish or dessert.
