Harold E. Scroggins, 79, of Clearwater, died Sunday (Jan. 28, 2007) at Morton Plant Hospital, Clearwater.
He was born in Gloucester, Mass., and came here in 1988 from Massachusetts, where he worked 37 years for Liberty Mutual Insurance Co. as an assistant vice president. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and a graduate of Boston College. He was an avid golfer and horse racing enthusiast. Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Dorothy [44384]; two brothers, Robert, Danvers, Mass., and Steve, Roswell, Ga.; and several nieces and nephews.
