Jeffrey Scroggins, 46, of Amarillo died Saturday, Dec. 5, 2009.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in South Georgia Baptist Church with Bob Miller, pastor, officiating. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Channing Cemetery by Rector Funeral Home, 2800 S. Osage St.

Jeffrey was born July 4, 1963, in Amarillo. He graduated from Channing High School in 1981. He worked as a loader with his dad at Western Sand and Gravel for more than 15 years. He was currently employed at Flying Star Transport as a truck driver.

He was a member of South Georgia Baptist Church.

Jeffrey was a loving husband, father, son and brother.

He married Millie Wilcox [46789] on Feb. 14, 2004, in Guymon, Okla.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Norma Scroggins [40266], in 1986, and a brother, Billy Lee Scroggins [40264], in 1995.

Survivors include his wife, Millie; a son, Callen Scroggins [46790] of Dumas; his father and stepmother, Billy J. [36067] and Dolores [36068] Scroggins of Amarillo; a brother, Erick N. Scroggins [40267] and wife Vikki [] of Pinehurst, N.C.; a sister, Jada [40269] Jackson and husband Michael [] of Amarillo; and numerous other family members.

The family suggests memorials be to South Georgia Baptist Church Building Fund, 5209 S. Georgia St., Amarillo, TX 79110.

Jovis Lance "Wes" Wesley of Enterprise, died Sunday, November 29, 2009 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center. He was 61. Celebration of Life Services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, December 6, 2009 in Clearman Chapel at Southern Heritage Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Disabled American Veterans, PO Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250-0301. Pastor Wes was born May 7, 1948 in Enterprise, AL to Jovis Eugene [46591] and Mary Lois Hutto Wesley [46507]. He was a Veteran of the United State Marine Corp serving in Vietnam. He was the Pastor of Whomsoever Will Ministries where he touched many lives through his ministry. Mr. Wesley is preceded in death by his mother and sister, Janice Scroggins [46591]. Survivors include his father, J.E. Services for Bishop Jimmie R. Wright, age 75, of Bastrop will be 10 a.m., December 3, 2009 at East Haven Church of God in Bastrop with Bishop David Sistrunk officiating, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Rayville.

Bishop Wright pastored Church of God churches for 55 years in Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Mississippi and Georgia. He was preceded in death by wife of 46 years, Nancy Temple Wright in year 2000; parents, Alonzo and Lois Wright; sisters, Marjorie Phillips, Ozella Kyle and Miriam Ross; brother, John Wright and an infant brother and sister.

He is survived by his wife of nine years, Ruth Scroggins Wright of Bastrop; four daughters, Peggy and Steve Bray of Broken Bow, Okla., Pam and Shannon Ryburn of Anadarko, Okla., Melinda and Scott Jewell of Crowder, Okla. and Julie Heath of McAlester, Okla.; two sons, Jimmie Jr. and Lesa Wright of Grand Prairie, Texas and Tim and Renee' Wright of Broken Bow, Okla, and stepson- Mike [36019] and Lynn Scroggins [36020] of Bastrop; two sisters, Martha Roderick of Eastman, Ga. and Sandra Childers of Belvedere, SC; and two brothers, Leroy Wright of Au Gris, Mich. and Jack Wright of Eastman, Ga.;16 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Ministers of Church of God.
