CORBIN — Freda Faulkner Scrogham, 50, of Williamsburg, died Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2013, at her residence.

She was the daughter of Eva Faulkner and the late J.C. Faulkner.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Faulkner Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Croley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Freda Mae Faulkner Scrogham of Horseshoe Lane, Williamsburg, Kentucky departed this life on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at her home. She was 50 years, 3 months, and 22 days of age. She was born on June 10, 1963 in Whitley County, Kentucky to Eva Hamblin Faulkner and the late James C. "J.C." Faulkner. In addition to her father, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Ray Bruce Scrogham; a daughter, Jana Lynn Phillips; a granddaughter, Abbigail Faith and a brother, James "Junior" Faulkner.

She is survived by her mother, Eva Hamblin Faulkner of Williamsburg, Kentucky; two sisters, Rita Lawson and her husband Johnny and Renee Wilson and her husband Donnie, all of Williamsburg, Kentucky; one brother, Carl Faulkner and his wife Rebecca of Williamsburg, Kentucky; a stepdaughter, Leslie Kay Hemard of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky; grandchildren, Dylan, Brianna and Trevor; four step-grandchildren; special friends, Helen and Billy Smith; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Visitation will be after 4:00 P.M. Saturday, October 5, 2013 at Croley Funeral Home.

The Funeral Service will be at 1:00 P.M. Sunday, October 6, 2013 at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lowell Huddleston and Rev. Lee Mahan officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Faulkner Cemetery in Williamsburg.
