Clint Robert Scroggins, 34, of Commiskey, passed away Friday, Oct. 11, 2013, at Commiskey.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Dove-Sharp and Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, North Vernon. Burial will be at First Marion Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the Jennings County High School Basketball Program.

Clint Robert Scroggins, 34, of Commiskey, Indiana died at 6:37 p.m. on Friday, October 11, 2013 at Commiskey, Indiana.

Mr. Scroggins was born on May 22, 1979 in Madison, Indiana, the son of Kathleen Smith and Richard Scroggins.  He was engaged to be married to Ronda Kopp of Commiskey, Indiana.  Ronda survives.

Clint owned Scroggins Lawn Service from 2001 to the present.  He was a 1998 graduate of Jennings County High School and received his electrical certification degree from Ivy Tech in Madison, Indiana in 2011. He was a member of the Hebron Baptist Church in Madison, Indiana.  His interests were landscaping and basketball.

Survivors include his parents, Dick (Kathy) Scroggins of Commiskey, Indiana and Kathy (Daryl) Sizemore of Madison, Indiana; his fiancé, Ronda Kopp of Commiskey, Indiana; one son, Jonathon Kelly of Farmville, Virginia;  three brothers, Kyle [fb] (Michelle [fb]) Schmalz and Dalton Sizemore both of Madison, Indiana, and Blake Scroggins [49544:D, fb] of Commiskey, Indiana; three sisters, Stacie (Gary) Mason and Kristan Schmalz both of Madison, Indiana and Richanda [49129:D, fb] (Craig) Hahn of North Vernon, Indiana; and grandparents Robert E. Smith of Madison, Indiana, and Bob & Irene Engle of Paris Crossing, Indiana.

The funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at the Dove-Sharp and Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, North Vernon, Indiana.  The Rev. Jeff Hood will officiate.  Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 15, 2013.  Burial will be at the First Marion Baptist Cemetery.
