Jimmie Lou Keele Scroggins [14984:J], 79, of San Saba passed away on October 18, 2013 in Llano, Texas. She was born in Rawls, Texas on September 30, 1934 to her father, Henry Washington Keele and mother, Effie May Odom. Jimmie Lou Keele Scroggins lived a very passionate life. She loved to cook, check out customers at Safeway, go to garage sales and watch westerns, especially those with the actor Gene Autry. Jimmie Lou Keele Scroggins is survived by her two sons, Robert and wife, Janis Collins of Richland Springs Texas and Terry McCrea of Pflugerville, Texas; one grandson, John Paul Collins; many great grand children and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry Washington Keele and Effie May Odom and one son, Jerry McCrea. Services were at Blaylock Funeral Chapel in San Saba, Tx on Monday, October 21, 2013 at 2:00. Interment followed at San Saba City Cemetery. Officiating was Brother Welton Watson

Jimmie Lou Keele was born in Bazette, Texas, the daughter of Henry Washington and Effie May Oldham Keele. She attended schools in San Saba and Lampasas, graduating from Lampasas High School in 1953. She was first married to David N. McCrea and they were the parents of twins, Terry and Jerry McCrea. She later married Robert Collins and they had a son, Robert, Jr. A still later marriage was to Wayne Scroggins.
Jimmie was a housewife and mother. She liked reading, watching TV, cooking and going to garage sales. She passed away on October 18, 2013 in Llano, Texas.
