Clint Scroggins (1955-2013)
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday January 26th, at Life Church at Wayside Open Bible Chapel in Springfield, 5297 "B" Street, for Clint Scroggins of Springfield. He died peacefully at home January 13th from complications of cancer at the young age of 57.
Clint was born February 6th, 1955 in Grants Pass to Robert [51509] and Helen [51510] Scroggins. He married Cynthia Simpson [51512] on April 27th 1989, in Eugene Oregon.
He attended Thurston High School and graduated from Springfield High School in 1973. He was a carpenter and worked in the building/construction industry for 40 years, he also worked in Prudhoe Bay, Alaska from 1983-1987.
Survivors include his wife Cindy Scroggins, a daughter Casey Scroggins [51513], mother Helen Holmes, four siblings; Coy Scroggins [40099] of Corvallis; Bob Scroggins of Springfield; stepsister Cindy Stopher [fb] of Brewton, Alabama, and stepbrother Don Holmes of Canyon Lake, Texas. Clint was preceded in death by father Robert Scroggins, step-father Charles Holmes and stepbrother Ron Holmes.
Deaths
Scroggins - Clinton Lee Scroggins , 57, of Springfield, died Jan. 13. A celebration of life will be at 1 p.m. Jan. 26 at Life Wayside Chapel in Springfield. Arrangements by Andreason's Cremation & Burial Service in Springfield.
