Our beloved wife, mother and grandmother left this world on Monday, 8/27/12. The lord gave us 83 ½ wonderful years before God called her home.
She was born 1/19/29 to Rev. Lonnie and Louella Smith. She was married to Walter Lee Scroggins [49483:N] [Obit] on 6/1/46 for 66 years. She is survived by her husband of the home. Her children, Janis Messer [49239:N] of Plano, Tx, Anita Roden [50846:N] & (Bob [50967:N]) of Flower Mound, Tx. Brenda Ballard [50849:N] & (Ed [50968:N]) of Norman, OK. Walter Lee Scroggins Jr. [50964:N] and (Patty [50969:N]) of OKC, and her baby boy (20) Zachary Stephens [50965:N] of the home. She had 13 grand children and 19 great grand children.
She has two sisters and two brothers, Wanda Coffey, Wilma Spearman, Glen Smith & Dean Smith. And her beloved special friend of 65 years Wanda Frasier Tilley. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers and sisters, Darl, Dewey, Wyonna & Velma.
Services will be Friday, 8/31/12 at 2:00 pm at Advantage Funeral Chapel at 7706 S. Penn, OKC.
Burial will be at Resthaven Cemetery at 500 S.W. 104th Street in OKC.
The family will receive visitors’ between 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the Funeral Home.
