Max L. Scroggin [39675], age 73, our beloved husband, dad, grandpa, son and brother, passed away May 7, 1993.
He was born May 21, 1919 in Provo, Utah, to Ted Scroggin [12829] and Gladys Kirby [12819]. He married Clephan M. Colby [39676] in Elko, Nevada, March 2, 1978. Max was employed at Kennecott Copper for 47 years and retired as a Drill and Blast Supervisor and was a Veteran of World War II, serving in the U. S. Navy.
Family activities and sharing family love were important events to Max and he was especially fond of traveling with his wife in their motorhome.
Survivors: wife, Clephan, Murray; children, Dennis [39695]; Brent [39697] and wife, Linda [39701]; Terry [39700] and wife, LuAnn [39698]; Maxine Holt [39702] and husband, Earl [39703]; Cheryl Ann Davider [39704] and husband, Rick [39705]; Kori Mower [39706] and husband, Scott [39707]; stepdaughter, Diana Herbert and husband, Val; 19 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; mother, Gladys Scroggin [12819]; brother, Shirl [39677] and wife, Isabell [39678].
Preceded in death by father, Ted [12820]; son, Larry [41744]; grandson, Dennis [tba].
Funeral services Monday, May 10, 1993, 11 a.m. in the Goff Mortuary Chapel 8090 So. State where friends may call Sunday 6-8 p.m. and Monday one hour prior to services. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens, Sandy, Utah.
