Man who died after shooting on Mill Avenue in Tempe identified

A 21-year-old man died hours after being shot in a pharmacy parking lot Friday evening, according to Tempe police. As the search for two men believed to be involved in the shooting death of Errun Scroggins stretched into Saturday morning, police urged anyone with information on the matter to come forward. ... Police were called around 6:20 p.m. to a CVS Pharmacy parking lot at Mill Avenue and University Drive. Scroggins was found shot in his car. Police did not have details on what happened but said Scroggins had tried to drive away before the car stopped in the lot. Several bullet casings were found in the parking lot, and Scroggins had multiple gunshot wounds. Scroggins died several hours after being hospitalized.
